| | I Love Lucy Reunion! Commemorative Lucy Poster Marks 50th Anniversary of Lucy's First Sitcom On July 12, 1998, at Loving Lucy '98, the Third Annual Convention of Lucy Fans, veterans of the "I Love Lucy" show came together onstage to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Lucy's sitcom debut and to raise money for vital pediatric AIDS research. Reunited for the first time on a single stage were such familiar "I Love Lucy" characters as "Carolyn Appleby" (Doris Singleton), "Marion Strong" (Shirley Mitchell), "Teensy & Weensy" (the Borden Twins), "Peggy Dawson" (Janet Waldo), the "Parisian Tout" (Larry Dobkin) and many more, re-creating two complete episodes of Lucy's very first sitcom, "My Favorite Husband." Even if you weren't lucky enough to attend, you can still share in the excitement and do your part to win the fight against AIDS by ordering your own official limited edition commemorative poster. All proceeds go to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation | ![]() |
